We know you are all excited (as are we) about the APA Team Captains Championship!  We were quite excited to be awarded two slots for 2025.  The first Qualifier will be held on 6-14-25 and the final one on 6-28-25.  To participate in this team event, you must have COMPLETED two full sessions as Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball or Ladies team in either the Summer 2024, Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 Sessions, in Central Virginia APA.  Additionally, you must be on a Summer 2025 roster in Central Virginia APA (though you don't have to be a Captain).  You must have a minimum of twenty, current scores (within the past two years) in either the 8 or 9-Ball format (not a combination of the two) in order to participate in the Qualifier.    Additionally, you must have played four times in the Spring 2025 session.  We will limit the teams to ONLY 3 Captains for the Qualifiers.  Additionally, your team can only contain one Senior Skill Level player (6 or above).  If you win to advance to Vegas, we will then allow you to pick up two additional, eligible, Captains (if you want).  Captains will use their highest Skill Level (between formats) printed on our official weekly scoresheets from June 1 - June 5, for the first event and from June 15 - June 19, for the final one.  SL 8's and 9's will count as a 7 for this event.   First team to reach 5 points is the winner. Please sign up with a team name!  Only one Captain needs to be present to register your team but all must be present at tournament start.  We are NOT limiting the number of teams for this event, so there's no need to stand in a long line.
 

The event in Vegas will take place on the dates as listed in the Facts Sheet below.  If you will NOT be able to go to Vegas during that time, you should not be participating in this event.  Additionally, if you win to go to Vegas in the first Captain's Qualifier, you cannot participate in the 2nd one.

If you win the final Qualifier and want to add any eligible Captains to your team for Vegas, you MUST have that information ready immediately after your win as the paperwork must be turned in to National the following Monday!
